Portland’s fan favorite indie film festival, Portland Film Festival will be hosting its upcoming edition at the Center of Native Arts + Cultures located at SE 10th and Belmont. From directing traffic to directing film programming – Joe Stevens has come full circle at the Portland Film Festival, now marking his sixth year as Director of Programming.
Aspiring filmmakers from Southwest Washington and Oregon gathered Saturday, September 20th at the Center for Native Arts + Cultures for hands-on movie-making experience through the Portland Film Festival’s Future Filmmakers program. Many participants drove up from the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs to join the day-long workshop.
