Oscars Watch Party with Film Industry and Friends – All Welcome

Come hang out with other film lovers and watch the 2018 Oscars live.

The Oscars are one of the movie industry’s premier award shows and will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. And this year we have a film in contention that played at the Portland Film Festival—Gary Oldman’s Darkest Hour.

Portland Film Festival staff and volunteers will be on hand to talk about the exciting plans for the 2018 Festival as well as local film happenings and films events.

There will be free movie passes, prizes and surprises!

This is a great opportunity to catch up with “festival friends” and see if your favorite actors and movies take home the Oscar.

Come anytime and invite your friends. Remember to bring a pen, we’ll have a ballot printed out.

The Portland Film Festival established itself as one of Portland’s first indie film non-profits, founded in 2013 with Portland’s first movie meetup, the Portland Film Club. Its hundreds of screenings, events, education programs, and community partnerships provide a remarkable experience for our diverse audience to connect with filmmakers working across genres and forms.
